Częstochowa
The Warta is the third longest river in Poland. Its
sources are located in Kromołów, which is a district of
Zawiercie. It flows into the Oder river at Kostrzyń. The
upper part of the river is very scenic and it is worth
visiting, while kayaking from Częstochowa to any point
in its lower reaches of the river. The Mirowski Rapid is
particularly interesting, where the Warta breaks
through limestone rocks of the Kraków-Częstochowa
Upland.
